Chemical composition of 7075 aluminum plate: Zinc is the main alloying element in 7075. Adding magnesium to an alloy containing 3%-7.5% zinc can form MgZn2 with significant strengthening effect, making the heat treatment effect of this alloy better than that of aluminum-zinc binary alloy. Increasing the content of zinc and magnesium in the alloy will further improve the tensile strength, but its resistance to stress corrosion and s palling corrosion will decrease accordingly. After heat treatment, very high strength characteristics can be achieved. 7075 materials are generally added with a small amount of copper, chromium and other alloys. Among the series, A7075-aluminum alloy is especially top-grade, and it is known as the excellent product among aluminum alloys with high strength.
7075-T651 is the top grade in the 7 series, with high strength, far better than any mild steel. This alloy has good mechanical properties and anode reaction.
It is especially used to manufacture aircraft structures and other high-stress structures that require high strength and strong corrosion resistance.
7075 is an aluminum alloy with zinc as the main alloying element, but sometimes a small amount of magnesium and copper are added. Among them, the super-hard aluminum alloy contains zinc, lead, magnesium and copper alloys, which are close to the hardness of steel, and can be strengthened by heat treatment. It is a high-strength, heat-treatable alloy with ordinary corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties.
